Jay-Z Files for Dismissal of Sexual Assault Lawsuit
Jay-Z has filed for dismissal of the sexual assault lawsuit that claims he and Sean 'Diddy' Combs raped a 13 year-old girl in 2000.
Jay-Z, real name Shawn Carter, filed the new motion on Wednesday after securing the greenlight to do so from United States District Judge Analisa Torres. Judge Torres previously condemned Spiro’s “relentless filing of combative motions containing inflammatory language and ad hominem attacks [on accuser’s lawyer, Tony Buzbee].” Spiro doubles down on his claims in this new motion, claiming there are many “inconsistencies and outright impossibilities” in Jane Doe’s allegations. Jane Doe, who filed her original lawsuit against Combs in October, and re-filed it with Carter’s name in early December.
