Ayub Qassim and a man believed to be his holiday pal 'Rocky' have spoken for the first time about the events that led up to the death of Jay Slater
On the night of 16 June, Jay partied at the Papagayo nightclub in Playa de las Americas before heading to an Airbnb in the remote village of Masca with Ayub Qassim and Rocky. Ayub also addressed past allegations of drug dealing and the confusion over claims that Jay was "scared" when he left the Airbnb, stating: "And everyone's calling me a dealer, I was 19, I'm 30 now. A GoFundMe page has collected over £70,000, and mum Debbie Duncan is appealing for further support, stating the funds will help with repatriating her son's body and funeral expenses.
