Jay Slater's family have asked for a special request as they prepare to say their final goodbyes at his funeral, just 26 days after his body was found in Tenerife
His mum Debbie Duncan, 55, has promised to give her son the "send off he deserves" as the gathering will take place at Accrington Cemetery in Lancashire, close to Jay's hometown of Oswaldtwistle. Tragically, Jay's body was discovered 29 days after he fell to his death in a mountainous region of Tenerife on June 17. and An autopsy revealed he died from head injuries likely caused by a fall. A post mortem conducted in the UK confirmed that Jay died because of traumatic head injuries, consistent with a "fall from height".
