Detective-turned-TV-investigator Mark Williams-Thomas, who is looking into the tragic death of teenager Jay Slater, has hinted that an update could be on the horizon in a new video. Apprentice bricklayer Jay, 19, from Oswaldtwistle, Lancashire, was holidaying in Tenerife and attending a music festival with pals when he disappeared on 17 June. He confessed that he has not yet disclosed details of "considerable issues that existed" and why Jay "left in the manner he did" and "didn't want to return" but hinted that they might be unveiled "when the time is right".
