Jay Slater 'TikTok detective' proved right - as body found where he said it would be
The body of a young man has been found in the Masca area of Tenerife, where missing Brit Jay Slater was last seen, and Spanish police have confirmed it appears to have been an accident
The lad from Oswaldtwistle, Lancashire, had uploaded a Snapchat video from Casa Abuela Tina, close to Masca village, just before his last known phone call to his friend Lucy Mae Law, then he was gone. The hunt for Jay was officially halted two weeks ago, nearly a fortnight after he disappeared, with his last traced steps half a mile north of Masca, but a TikTok detective insisted he was still in the area only five days prior. The sleuth, an ex-pat who goes by ChristopherTenerife or simply Chris online, shared footage of himself scouring a vast swath of Masca's rugged terrain, reports the Daily Star.
