Jason Reitman To Receive Art Directors Guild’s 2025 Cinematic Imagery Award
'Saturday Night' director Jason Reitman will receive the Art Directors Guild's 2025 Cinematic Imagery Award at the ASC Awards on February 15 in Los Angeles.
The honor is presented to those whose body of work in the film and television industry has richly enhanced the visual aspects of the viewer’s experience. “My movies stand on the shoulders of brilliant artists including the production designers Jess Gonchor, Francois Audouy, Kevin Thompson, and Steve Saklad,” says Reitman. He also serves as a governor in the Director’s Branch of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and is leading a coalition of about three dozen filmmakers working to acquire and preserve the historic Village Theater in L.A.’s Westwood community.
