Jason Priestly says fame 'got really real' for his kids when their teachers said they had posters of him on their wall growing up.

The actor, 55, spoke with PEOPLE ahead of the season 2 premiere of his show Wild Cards and shared that his daughter Ava, 17, and son Dashiell, 15, only discovered how famous he truly is when something came up at their school. "It's pretty funny," he continues, adding that his kids' initial reaction was more of, "'Why would you have a poster of my dad on your wall? Although his kids didn't totally understand that their dad was a star when they were younger, they are now well aware that he's been in some big projects.
