Jason Moore Set To Direct ‘Legally Blonde’ Prequel Series ‘Elle’
Pitch Perfect director Jason Moore has been tapped to helm the upcoming Legally Blonde prequel series Elle.
Jason MooreTaylor Hill/Getty Images Created by Laura Kittrell ( High School, Insecure) and Caroline Dries ( Batwoman, Vampire Diaries), Elle follows Elle Woods, played by Lexi Minetree, in high school as we learn about the life experiences that shaped her into the iconic young woman we came to know and love in the first Legally Blonde film. Moore’s feature directorial debut, Pitch Perfect starring Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson and Brittany Snow, was a critical and commercial success; he served as executive producer on both of the sequels. Upcoming, he’ll direct two book adaptations: The Guncle, based on the bestseller by Steven Rowley, and Emma Straub’s novel This Time Tomorrow.
