Jason Momoa Series ‘Chief of War’ Sets Release Date at Apple TV+
Jason Momoa's historical epic series "Chief of War" has set its premiere date at Apple TV+.
Based on true events, the nine-episode series “follows warrior Ka’iana (Momoa) as he tries to unify the islands before Western colonization in the late 18th century,” per the official logline. Additional executive producers include: Peter Chernin, Jenno Topping, Tracey Cook, Brian Mendoza, Anders Engstrom, Jim Rowe, Molly Allen, Francis Lawrence, and Tim Van Patten. He and Pa’a Sibbett also co-wrote the story for the feature “The Last Manhunt,” with Momoa appearing onscreen in a supporting role.
