Jason Manford reveals real reason why his first marriage collapsed after having four children

Comedian Jason Manford was previously married to his now ex-wife, Catherine, and the couple shared four children together - but their relationship sadly broke down

Jason, who was brought up in relative poverty in a council house, revealed he only recently realised he had missed out on quality family time due to work. The host of new TV gameshow Answer Run explained: "My first marriage really disintegrated on my theory of, 'I don't want my children to have the childhood I had'. "I remember coming home from school and the sofa had gone, another time the telly had gone and another when my mum's sh**ty little yellow Triumph Dolomite was gone."
