Jason Blum Reveals ‘Five Nights at Freddy’s 2’ Trailer in Full Costume

The Blumhouse founder took the CinemaCon stage to share the footage for the horror sequel hitting theaters later this year.

At CinemaCon on Wednesday, the producer was dressed head-to-toe in a get-up resembling one worn by the murderous animatronic figures in the franchise that adapts the popular video game series. He acknowledged that exhibitors weren’t thrilled that the first movie was released day-and-date on Peacock but assured the crowd that the new film would launch exclusively in theaters. Tammi, who also helmed the first film, previously told The Hollywood Reporter of a possible follow-up: “We have some loose ends that I think are going to have to come back in a sequel to be tied up.”
