Seymour, best known for starring in Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman, Bond film Live and Let Die and Netflix’s The Kominsky Method, plays Harry, who along with Rohan Nedd’s Fergus, is hired to prove the lead singer of Ireland’s hottest boy band didn’t kill himself, find out who decapitated a woman in a busy restaurant, discover who murdered a despotic director on the set of Ireland’s leading daytime soap opera, work out how a mystery writer managed to shoot himself in a locked panic room without a gun. The network also recently commissioned Ellis, a feature-length detective drama series starring Sharon D. Clarke, and has Sally Lindsay’s The Madame Blanc Mysteries ending its three season run on March 18. “Acorn TV is a beloved streaming brand that goes deep on international mysteries, dramas and thrillers,” said Kim Granito, chief marketing officer of AMC Networks.
