Jane Fonda, Alfre Woodward, Lynda Carter And Kyra Sedgwick Among Headliners For Kamala Harris “Americans Abroad” Event
The event is aimed at citizens living overseas.
Celebrities and political figures will take part on Thursday in an organizing and fundraising Zoom event to rally Americans living abroad for Kamala Harris ‘ presidential campaign. The lineup for the noon ET event includes Jane Fonda, Kyra Sedgwick, Alfre Woodard, Lynda Carter and Chef Marcus Samuelsson, as well as political figures including former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer, Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ), Sen. Ed Markey (D-MA), Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA), Rep. Ruben Gallego (D-AZ), State Rep. Justin Pearson (D-TN), former Rep. Beto O’Rourke (D-TX), former Trump administration official Olivia Troye and Harris-Walz finance chair Rufus Gifford. Costos said that they “have put together a great group of folks from various backgrounds, who can speal directly to the critical importance of voting, and how easy it is to do for Americans living abroad, especially those hailing from key swing states, and we also hope to raise a lot of money for the Harris Walz campaign.”
