Jane Fonda Set For SAG Life Achievement Award Honor
Jane Fonda has been chosen as the 2025 recipient of the SAG Life Achievement Award, SAG-AFTRA's highest tribute.
Fonda, a two-time Oscar winner, will be the 60th person to receive the award, given to an actor who fosters “the finest ideals of the acting profession” as it recognizes both career and humanitarian accomplishments. “Jane Fonda is a trailblazer and an extraordinary talent; a dynamic force who has shaped the landscape of entertainment, advocacy and culture with unwavering passion,” SAG-AFTRA president Fran Drescher said in a release Thursday announcing the award. Just in 2023 she appeared in four films, capped by 80 For Brady alongside Lily Tomlin, Sally Field, and Rita Moreno — all previous SAG Life Achievement winners.
