Jamie-Lynn Sigler Calls Ozempic Triggering: ‘It’s Upsetting Me’

Jamie-Lynn Sigler, who has struggled with an eating disorder, feels triggered by the trend of celebs using Ozempic and similar drugs for weight loss, saying it pushes back against the body positivity movement

The Sopranos actress shared her feelings about the fad drug and her struggles with exercise bulimia on the Tuesday, May 14 episode of “MeSsy,” her podcast with Christina Applegate. Sigler went into her own struggles with disordered eating and weight loss, sharing that her high school notebooks were full of calorie counting in the margins and that she “was 80 pounds” at her lowest point. The HBO crime drama began in January 1999 with Tony Soprano (James Gandolfini) reluctantly walking into the office of his new psychiatrist, Jennifer Melfi (Lorraine Bracco), after having a panic attack.
