Jamie Spears Wants Britney Spears Financial Objections Thrown Out and Upcoming Trial Canceled

Jamie Spears has filed a motion to reject Britney Spears' financial objections pertaining to her previous conservatorship, as well as cancel their upcoming trial.

On Tuesday, April 30, Jamie, 71, filed a motion for summary judgment pertaining to financial objections from the 42-year-old singer’s previous conservatorship in an effort to avoid proceeding with a trial, per court documents obtained by PEOPLE. He is seeking a summary judgment regarding Britney’s objections — compensation to Tri Star Sports & Entertainment and payment of attorneys’ fees to Sidley Austin LLP — both of which were made while Jamie was her conservator. Along with Britney’s two objections, Jamie is seeking a judgment regarding her three requests for more information: accounting compensation to Tri Star Sports & Entertainment, payment of rent for storage space and investment valuation differences.
