Jamie Oliver, Fremantle Extend Global Distribution Pact

Fremantle has sealed a new five-year agreement with Jamie Oliver Group, extending the partnership that began in 2002.

Following a successful launch of Oliver’s TV library on YouTube in the U.S., Fremantle plans to expand the chef’s digital presence to reach new audiences. “We’re proud of the long-standing relationship that we have with Jamie to bring his content to a global audience,” said Bob McCourt, chief operating officer, commercial and international at Fremantle. Earlier this year, as revealed by Variety, independent media company Tastemade acquired six lifestyle series starring Oliver for the U.S. through a partnership with Fremantle.
