Jamie Lee Curtis Says She Is Doing Away with 'Disappointment' and Focusing on 'Hope' in 2025 (Exclusive)

Jamie Lee Curtis told PEOPLE at the Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards on Jan. 3 about her ins and outs for 2025, which include doing away with the 'disappointment' from 2024 and manifesting 'hope' in the new year.

The pair revealed that the filming for the sequel kicked off in June at Walt Disney Studios with an Instagram post showing them holding hands on the set. “We made it for all of you,” said Curtis of the film in her post, “and I can't wait for you to see it and I'm thrilled to have been reunited with @lindsaylohan and get to watch new talents form and expand.” She added that despite the new story, the film would be filled with lots of “nostalgia” that longtime Freaky Friday fans are hoping to see.
