Jamie Laing confesses he 'hasn't been great' since completing brutal 150-mile ultra marathon challenge as he reflects on 'traumatic' challenge and the incredible reason he didn't give up


The BBC Radio 1 presenter, 36, had the whole nation behind him as he ran 30 miles for five consecutive days across the country, raising an incredible £2.3 million for charity.

Taking to his Instagram Story, Jamie also addressed his fans about opening up as he penned: 'To be totally honest, I've not quite felt fully back to normal since completing the challenge' In his video diary from the run, which featured in the latest episode of his and wife Sophie Habboo's NewlyWeds podcast, Jamie revealed he'd been forced to 'Vaseline up' after hurting his manhood as well as his feet. Following the run, he appeared on Comic Relief's live show as he hobbled onto the stage and told hosts Alison Hammond and Joel Dommett that his 'body was bad' and joked: 'I should have just taken the train here.'
