Jamie Foxx thanks his daughters Corinne and Anelise for "saving" and "protecting" him in a sweet tribute after his emotional BET Award speech, calling them "nothing short of angelic."
The actor, 57, shared a few photos on Instagram on Tuesday, June 10, that included clips from his emotional BET Awards speech in which he thanked his daughters for supporting him after his near-fatal April 2023 stroke. In one Instagram post, Foxx addressed his 16-year-old daughter Anelise and thanked her for being there for him when he was recovering. "And I didn't want my 14-year-old to see me like that, but my Anelise overheard the conversation and she snuck into my hospital room with her guitar and said, 'I know what my daddy need.'"
