Jamie Foxx is 'recovering' after a physical altercation during his birthday celebration led to him needing stitches.

BHPD said it responded to “a reported possible assault with a deadly weapon” at the restaurant where Foxx was celebrating his birthday on Friday at around 10 p.m. In the special, which arrived Tuesday, Foxx says he was in the midst of filming his upcoming Netflix movie Back in Action co-starring Cameron Diaz when his “mysterious illness” began and he does not recall the following 20 days. “He may be able to make a full recovery, but it’s gonna be the worst year of his life,” Foxx emotionally recounts the doctor telling his sister during the special.
