Jamie Foxx beams as he accepts the Producers Award at AAFCA Special Achievement nearly a year after he was hospitalized with mystery illness

The Terrell, Texas-born entertainer was clad in an all-black ensemble of a Dolce & Gabbana sport coat over a T-shirt with slacks and black shoes at the event.

The resurgent star, who is father to daughters Corinne Foxx, 30, and Annalise Bishop, 15, from previous relationships, was honored nearly a year after he was hospitalized, leading to a months-long battle back to health. Among the other honorees on Sunday included Foxx's producing partner Datari Turner, 44, who has collaborated on the projects such as They Cloned Tyrone, Story Ave and The Burial with the A-list star. The Martin Scorsese movie Killers of the Flower Moon was honored with the Stanley & Karen Kramer Social Justice Award after 'shining a light on the true story of the infamous Osage Nation murders,' the AAFCA said in a statement, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
