Since revamping its monster movies strategy in 2019 where the studio is focusing on filmmaker driven projects, The Creature From the Black Lagoon is something that has been a high priority for Universal. He most recently directed Aquaman And The Last Kingdom, the sequel to the box office original smash, which is DC’s highest worldwide grossing film of all time.
