Dawson's Creek star James Van Der Beek revealed that he underwent a vasectomy before learning of his stage 3 colorectal cancer diagnosis.
Van Der Beek then humorously added, 'And my youngest daughter looked me straight in the eye and said, "Daddy, I hope your vagina feels better."' 'There's no playbook for how announce these things, but I'd planned on talking about it at length with People magazine at some point soon… to raise awareness and tell my story on my own terms.' Next month in December, Van Der Beek will appear in the television series, The Real Full Monty, to help bring awareness to colorectal cancer.
