James Taylor Endorses Harris-Walz: ‘The Clear and Rational Choice’
After performing at a North Carolina rally last week, James Taylor has officially endorsed the Kamala Harris-Tim Walz ticket.
After performing at a North Carolina rally last week (and getting cut for time from the Democratic National Convention), James Taylor has officially endorsed the Kamala Harris-Tim Walz ticket. Taylor has been active in the lead-up to the 2024 presidential elections: He was scheduled to play the DNC but his performance was nixed after the convention ( allegedly due to excess applause) ran long; unfazed, he instead performed “You’ve Got a Friend” last week at a Wilmington, North Carolina rally led by vice presidential candidate Tim Walz. In recent weeks, Taylor has also lent his services to a Hurricane Helene benefit and paid tribute to Jimmy Buffett at the 2024 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony.
