James Maddison 's £170,000 a week salary could buy you a lot of things, but it didn't buy his girlfriend a cheap rose as they dined out on Tuesday evening.
The Tottenham Hotspur and England ace treated partner Kennedy Alexa to an early Valentine's Day dinner in Mayfair, but opted out of buying her a plastic wrapped rose from a local trader after being approached on the street. He did however make up for it by whisking her off for a lavish meal at the Russian owned Novikov, one of Mayfair's more exclusive bar-restaurants, where the cheapest white wine costs £60 a glass and vodka served from a Fabergé Imperial Collection Decanter and Jeweled Egg an eye-watering £5,500.
