James Gunn Teases Nathan Fillion’s Wild Transformation For New Superman Movie

James Gunn is no stranger to controversy, and with a behind-the-scenes tease for the coming-out Superman, the tables once again turned....

A half-way transformation video dropped with few, if any, details gave Fillion an almost amused and slightly bewildered look as his normally dark hair was being taken away from him in what was to surely be considered an utterly supreme style-clash. It was accompanied by a Jerry-rigged psuedo-caption: a completely spastic mess of half-formed thoughts and inside jokes; some of the lines read, “What I think we should do is bleach his sideburns so that he has to walk around in real life,” and, “That haircut should be against your house.” Classic Gunn-absurdity with an odd sprinkle of common sense. Some were raving about it, with one saying, “This is gonna be peak,” while another declared “PERFECT goddamn casting, thank you.” On the other hand, those not shy about their displeasure were calling it “cheap looking shallow garbage,” while one salty one turned up with, “You might as well give this whole thing a bowl cut from me and everybody who is really praying for this movie to flop.” Ouch!
