James Gunn's 'Superman' introduces a handful of superheroes as his new DC Universe launches, but he says fans should not worry about being confused.
That means the film’s cast has a supersized ensemble, from David Corenswet as the Man of Steel to Anthony Carrigan (Metamorpho), Edi Gathegi (Mister Terrific), Nathan Fillon (Guy Gardner), Isabela Mercad (Hawkgirl) and more. There’s also Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, Skyler Gisondo as Jimmy Olsen and more comic book regulars. Despite a cast of more than 25 actors with speaking roles, the movie dazzled audiences around the world to the tune of $975 million at the worldwide box office.
