Their SDCC panel isn’t set to happen until a few weeks after Superman hits theaters, giving James Gunn and Peter Safran plenty of time to see just how much runway the DC Universe truly has in the coming years. Along with the announcement that DC Studios would be making its return to San Diego Comic-Con, James Gunn tipped his hand a bit about what they can expect from the franchise’s panel. The director reveals that only he and John Cena will be present to promote the upcoming season of Peacemaker, although that doesn’t mean SDCC attendees won’t get a scope on other DC Universe projects.
