James Gunn Reveals New ‘Peacemaker’ Helmet Design In BTS Photo For Season 2

Peacemaker is getting a brand new look! James Gunn shows off a redesigned helmet for the hero in season 2 with a BTS photo taken during production.

While much of the love comes from John Cena’s stellar performance, flowers must be given to the character’s costume and helmet having one of the best combinations of design and execution in any comic book project. The director posted a BTS photo taken during production to celebrate Peacemaker’s 58th anniversary, which shows off a new look for the costume that leans much closer to its original comic counterpart. Namely, BTS photos taken by passersby suggest that the series will feature a multiverse plotline when it returns, which aligns with the idea that only this second season will be canon to the brand new DC Universe.
