James Gunn Reveals First Photo From John Cena’s ‘Peacemaker’ Season 2 As Production Begins
After a two-year hiatus, Peacemaker is back in production for its second season, with DC Studios co-head James Gunn at the helm. Check out the first photo!
The show, starring John Cena as the title character he first played in 2021’s The Suicide Squad, also features Danielle Brooks, Chukwudi Iwuji, Jennifer Holland, Steve Agee, and Robert Patrick. Created by writer Joe Gill and artist Pat Boyette, Peacemaker was introduced as a member of Task Force X, a team of supervillains who are sent on a dangerous mission by the government. Raised on a hearty dose of Marvel and DC comics, Rick combines his love for superheroes with a knack for writing about Hollywood's brightest.
