James Gunn Reveals ‘Green Lantern’ Writing Team

Damon Lindelof, Chris Mundy and Tom King are set to be the writing team for “Lanterns,” the DC Studios television centered around “Green Lantern.”

The Lanterns DCU series is putting together a crack team of writers, based on a wonderful pilot script and bible by Chris Mundy, Tom King, and Damon Lindelof,” Gunn said. It’s got two of our favorite Green Lanterns, Hal Jordan and Jon Stewart, starring in a True Detective-type mystery and it plays a really big role leading into the main story that we’re telling across [the DC Universe]. Finn Wittrock and Jeremy Irvine were set to star in Greg Berlantin’s Green Lantern series, with Seth Grahame-Smith writing it for HBO Max.
