Milly Alcock is trading Westeros for Metropolis: The House of the Dragon alum has been cast as Supergirl in the new DC Universe movies, our sister site Deadline reports. Alcock will headline the upcoming film Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow as well as appearing in various DC projects — including a possible role in Superman Legacy, starring David Corenswet as the titular Man of Steel and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel’ s Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane. Born and raised in Sydney, Australia, Alcock was first introduced to American audiences as the young Rhaenyra Targaryen in HBO’s Game of Thrones prequel House of the Dragon, which premiered in 2022.
