Peacemaker is coming back sooner than fans think! James Gunn recently confirmed when the highly anticipated DC Universe series will start filming.

However, with James Gunn now helming a reboot for the DC Universe on top of filming a new Superman movie, news has been slow about John Cena’s return to the world of spandex. Thanks to recent comments by Emilia Harcourt actress Jennifer Holland, DC fans found out that Peacemaker season 2 is eyeing to start filming sometime this summer. Directors also have far less control over the story of a show than the writers, assuring that Gunn’s touch will still be felt in the oddest corner of the DC Universe.
