Given how quite the MCU is when it comes to their casting process, it’s an exciting moment to see one of the heads of the DC Universe congratulate Aaron Pierre on landing his role in Lanterns. This makes him the third Green Lantern James Gunn has cast in the reboot, with Pierre’s John Stewart joining Nathan Fillion’s Guy Gardner and Kyle Chandler’s Hal Jordan. This suggests that John Stewart will be the main member of the Green Lantern Corp focused on in the series and, by extension, the DC Universe.
