James Gandolfini’s Son On Potential ‘Sopranos’ Prequel Series & Reprising Tony Soprano Role


Michael Gandolfini, the son of the late James Gandolfini, is opening up about reprising the Tony Soprano role in a potential Sopranos prequel series.

Michael Gandolfini added that he would “love” to work with David Chase again but didn’t think the character of Tony would return. Michael Gandolfini took on the role of young Tony Soprano in the prequel film The Many Saints of Newark. The film also starred Alessandro Nivola, Leslie Odom Jr., Jon Bernthal, Corey Stoll, Billy Magnussen, Michela De Rossi, John Magaro, Ray Liotta and Vera Farmiga.
