James Corden unrecognisable in first TV role alongside Corrie and EastEnders stars
Before becoming a household name in both the UK and US, James Corden began his career kids TV sitcom Out of Tune, in which he portrayed Lee, alongside many soap stars
Soap legend Jane Danson, AKA Coronation Street's Leanne Battersby, also starred in the kids series, as well as Charlie Brooks, famed for portraying Janine Butcher in EastEnders. Actresses Jane and Charlie both went on to carve out impressive careers in soapland, while James continued acting, but also turned his hand to writing, presenting and producing. Gavin & Stacey won a number of awards, including several BAFTAs, and helped propel James and Ruth, along with their co-stars, Mathew Horne, Joanna Page, to stardom.
