Gavin and Stacey's James Corden has revealed that two extras went off-script during the filming of the Christmas special - and the scene made it into the final cut

While the likes of Mick, Pam, Pete, Dawn and other key characters objected to the marriage, two unknown wedding guests also stood up to oppose the match - a moment James Corden has revealed was a complete surprise to him. "When Anna Maxwell Martin, who brilliantly came to give us two days of her time to to play the part of the celebrant, says, 'if anybody here knows of any reasons please stand,' there's two ladies at the back on Sonia's side who stood up. The likes of Sheridan Smith, Pam Ferris, Russell Tovey and Steffan Rhodri reprised their much-loved roles, however fans noticed that one particular star was missing from the episode.
