Justin Kurzel’s “The Narrow Road to the Deep North,” the lushly lensed prestige series starring Jacob Elordi as an Australian war hero, has been licensed by Sony Pictures Television to Prime Video in the U.S. Based on the Booker Prize-winning novel by Richard Flanagan, the Australian drama series was written by Shaun Grant (“Nitram,” “Mindhunter”). Elordi and Odessa Young star opposite Oscar nominee Ciarán Hinds (“Belfast”) as the older Dorrigo Evans, Olivia DeJonge (“Elvis”), Simon Baker (“Limbo”), Show Kasamatsu (“Tokyo Vice”), Heather Mitchell (“Ricky Stanicky”) and Thomas Weatherall (“Heartbreak High”).
