Jack White Responds to Fans Hoping for Lengthy Sets: ‘It’s Not a Marvel Movie’
Jack White has grown tired of the expectations that musicians need to perform marathon sets on a regular basis.
“Been hearing a lot of chatter throughout the year of this glorious electric touring about how long our sets are ‘supposed to be’ on stage,” he began. “I’ve seen a plethora of rock and roll gigs that lasted 45 minutes and blew my mind and inspired me beyond belief,” he explained. White is currently in the midst of a lengthy global tour that began in 2024 in support of his latest solo album, No Name.
