Jack White Is Ready to Share His Mystery Album ‘No Name’ With the Rest of the World

Jack White will release his new album 'No Name' on Aug. 2 after releasing limited free copies in London, Nashville, and Detroit on July 19.

The exclusivity window is closing on the mysterious Jack White album that arrived to his Third Man Records stores in Nashville, Detroit, and London earlier this month. After giving the record away for free to whomever could get their hands on the limited vinyl copies, the musician is sharing the wealth. In a review of the release — published shortly after it surfaced with no title or track list — Rolling Stone wrote: “No Name fuses the two sides of his persona — the rocking and the weird — about as fluidly as he ever has … The album has some silly moments too, but in the context of its more or less unrelenting guitar grind, they come off as reminders of how well White’s screwball impulses work when they’re tempered and good natured.”
