While the wanton blood and gore of The Boys means there’s not much that can be gleamed from this first look, it does suggest that the series won’t be waiting for later in the season to crank the chaos up to eleven. Despite the reputation of The Boys painting it as the most depraved and irreverent series that has ever hit streaming, the show’s over the top violence is often steeped in political satire. One set photo in particular seems to reveal that Teenage Kix, a parody of teams like the Teen Titans and Young Avengers, will be making their debut in season 5.
