Jack Black posted a workout video on Instagram in honor of the new year, telling fans how he’s hoping to get in shape like Dwayne Johnson

In the comments section, many celebrities — including Octavia Spencer and Kristin Chenoweth — and fans of Black sent encouraging messages to support his fitness goals. Back in 2019 the School of Rock actor posted a video trying to recreate Chris Hemsworth ’s impressive gym workout. “Haha you legend,” wrote Hemsworth, 41, before eventually reposting the video to his account and writing alongside it, “The student has become the master.”
