Jack Black has weighed in on the future of Tenacious D after Kyle Gass' controversial Trump shooting remark led to the band's tour cancellation.

Last month, Black announced on social media that he was canceling Tenacious D ‘s current tour amid blowback against Gass, who made a controversial comment at the band’s concert in Australia on July 14 related to the assassination attempt on Donald Trump. Tenacious D was performing at the ICC Sydney Theatre the day after the Trump rally shooting in Butler, Pa., when the former president was struck in the ear by a live bullet. “After much reflection, I no longer feel it is appropriate to continue the Tenacious D tour, and all future creative plans are on hold,” Black added.
