Jack Black Joins the Cast of Weezer’s Upcoming Movie

Weezer frontman Rivers Cuomo has confirmed that Jack Black will be part of the band's upcoming movie.

News of the Tenacious D musician’s involvement was confirmed by frontman Rivers Cuomo, who shared an AI-generated film poster on band’s Discord server. “We’ve been busy making the Weezer movie back in L.A. the last couple weeks,” Cuomo told the crowd before breaking out “Undone (The Sweater Song). When Weezer wrapped their Voyage to the Blue Album tour in Los Angeles in October 2024, Schwartz was present and asked the crowd to help out with a movie shoot.
