Jack Black Cancels Tenacious D Tour After Bandmate Kyle Gass' Joke About Donald Trump Shooting


Kyle Gass issued an apology for his controversial comment while Jack Black announced the cancelation of their tour.

The comedy rock duo of more than 20 years will not be hitting the road right now, Black announced in an Instagram post on Tuesday, following Gass' remark at their show in Sydney, Australia, on Sunday. Gass issued an apology, writing on social media, "The line I improvised onstage Sunday night in Sydney was highly inappropriate, dangerous and a terrible mistake. The GRAMMY-winning band has been known to be politically active over the years, including having performed in support of former President Barack Obama and encouraging fans to participate in elections.
