Jack Antonoff and Teddy Swims’ “Lose Control” were the top winners at the ASCAP Pop Music Awards, which took place in Los Angeles on Thursday night. Sony Music Publishing was awarded the ASCAP Pop Music Publisher of the Year award, with songs including Shaboozey’s “A Bar Song (Tipsy),” Chappell Roan’s “Hot to Go!,” Dua Lipa’s “Houdini,” Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us,” Noah Kahan’s “Stick Season,” Beyoncé’s “Texas Hold ‘Em” and more. ASCAP also recognized some of the most performed songs of the year, including Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars’ “Die With a Smile,” Morgan Wallen and Post Malone’s “I Had Some Help,” and Tommy Richman’s “Million Dollar Baby.”
