Jack Antonoff Hints He Knew the Band Fun. Wouldn't 'Age Well'
Jack Antonoff discussed why he 'chose to not' continue working with the band Fun. despite their success with the album 'Some Nights'
specifically as a band that was “big deal at the time” — they won Best New Artist and Song of the Year for “We Are Young” at the 2013 Grammy Awards — but is seemingly forgotten now. Sabrina Carpenter revealed in a June 2024 interview with Rolling Stone that much of her sixth album, Short n’ Sweet, was produced by Antonoff. Their breakthrough success came in 2012 with the release of Some Nights, with “We Are Young,” “Carry On” and the album’s title track all making it into the top 20 of the Billboard Hot 100.
