Jaafar Jackson Goes Full Zombie Recreating Michael Jackson's 'Thriller' Video for Upcoming Movie

Jaafar Jackson was spotted recreating moments from his uncle Michael Jackson's 1983 music video 'Thriller' on the Los Angeles set of the movie 'Michael.' The biopic is in theaters April 18, 2025.

Jaafar, who was originally announced as the actor portraying the late pop star back in January, was seen recreating moments from the music video on the movie's set on May 24. In those photos, Jaafar was not yet wearing any monster makeup; he could also be seen filming with the actress portrayingOla Ray, who starred as Michael's unsuspecting date in the "Thriller" music video. Jaafar has been seen on the movie's set multiple times in recent weeks as filming continues; production on the movie began in January, and Nia Long and Colman Domingo, who play Jackson's parents Katherine and Joe in the film, were spotted in costume on set in February.
