J-Hope and GloRilla Flee the Scene on New Song ‘Killin’ It Girl’
BTS' J-Hope has dropped a new single, "Killin' It Girl," featuring a guest verse from Memphis rapper GloRilla.
Produced by Cirkut, Inverness, and Blake Slatkin the track starts off with a spare but propulsive beat that eventually opens up on the chorus with big pop synths. J-Hope delivers a verse filled with dumbstruck devotion — “Looking like a twenty from Korea to Miami/Oh, I wanna get with you in the worst way” — while GloRilla breezes through self-assured bars like, “Murder for hire, Mike Glo Myers/Keep my foot up on they necks and my heels high/Might take your man and tell you go take it to trial.” As for GloRilla, she dropped her debut album Glorious last October, and since then she’s shared one new solo single “Type.” She’s featured on new tracks by Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco, Gelo, Jorjiana.
